Žirovnica is one of ten villages located on the plain at the foothills of Stol on the left bank of the Sava River. The area crisscrossed with a number of hiking, mountaineering, cycling, mountain-biking and riding routes provides infinite possibilities for recreation.
The riding tours in the valley are very interesting, not to mention memorable mountain riding tours or rides on a hay cart.
There is a riding centre next to the guesthouse providing the riding classes for the beginners.
The best way to enjoy the natural environment is trail riding, including several-day tours. |

DŠD Kranj is located in the northern part of Kranj, a beautiful city in Gorenjska region. Ljubljana, the capital, is only 25 km away, and the airport only 7 km. You can reach the high mountains or Bled and Bohinj in an hour, and the motorway will take you to the coast in less than two. Our dormitory is a students' residence so from September till June the rooms are mainly occupied by students and pupils. Whenever possible (weekends, holidays), we provide accomodation as a youth hostel. |

Cukrarna, the sweetest hostel (cuker means sugar in Slovenian language). House was renewed in 2003 into sweet shop. Best sellers that time was torta, potica, gibanica, štruklji, pita, sladoled. (Slovenian traditional desserts). In 2011 we open door to turists all over the world as hostel. To keep the sweet tradition of the house we named all our 8 rooms after the traditional Slovenian desserts. We are situated in the ancient centre of Kranj in a renovated house from 17th century. Beside a great location in the centre of the town, above Kokra canyon , with Alps in the background, hostel Cukrarna Kranj offers you everything for a pleasant and safe stay.
