At one and the same time, Bled is both romantic and cosmopolitan. After a civil ceremony at Bled Castle or one of this area’s picturesque churches, don't forget to take the pletna ferryboat to the island in the middle of Lake Bled. Ring the bell in the church and your wishes will be fulfilled. In addition to the castle, island and churches, Villa Bled is yet another attractive wedding venue; ceremonies are held in its concert hall, in a marquee in the garden with its view of both the lake and the castle, as well as in the nearby Belvedere pavilion.
